About Hiranandani Estate Ayyappa Pooja Trust (HEAP):

Hiranandani Estate Ayyappa Puja (HEAP)  was established as a trust in the year 2000 to cater to the spiritual needs of Ayyappa devotees within Hiranandani Estate- an esteemed integrated township in Thane comprising of over 10,000 families residing in more than 125 residential apartment buildings.

Its primary purpose is to orchestrate diverse religious rituals, pujas, and provide assistance to those in need within our community and its surroundings. A significant endeavour of HEAP is the annual Ayyappa Puja during the Mandala Season, a tradition faithfully upheld year after year.

In 2017, we joyously marked our 18th Annual Mandala Pooja with an extravagant celebration that spanned across 8 days, featuring a wide array of rituals and cultural programs. Looking forward, we are eagerly anticipating to our 25th-year Pooja, scheduled in December 2024 to be performed in a Grand scale

For the year 2024 - we celebrate the 25th milestone of our cherished Ayyappa Pooja  reflecting  on the journey of faith, unity, and devotion that has brought us here.

Our 'Ayyappa Pooja' has not only become the most anticipated event within our township but also draws participants from neighbouring residential communities.

Beyond the spiritual significance, our primary attraction is the Annadanam (Mahaprasadam) offered on the final day of the pooja. This noble endeavour serves a remarkable 8000 to 10,000 individuals, both from within and outside our community, garnering admiration from all residents. The celebrations are open to one and all.

*Fostering Sanatana Dharma *

Fostering and spreading Sanatana Dharam is the  Primary Objective of HEAP.Sanatana Dharma is not just a religion; it's a way of life that encourages us to seek truth, live in harmony with nature, and serve humanity. By embracing and preserving this ancient tradition, we connect with the wisdom of our ancestors and become  guardians of a timeless legacy.

*Bhagvad Gita Chanting  : *

As children are the torchbearers of Sanatana Dharma and hold the power to shape a brighter and more harmonious future, HEAP took a significant step in 2020. We initiated free online Bhagavad Gita Classes for children, offering two distinct batches: 'Kanishta' for juniors and 'Jyeshta' for seniors. These classes have been conducted every Sunday morning under the direct guidance of Sri Rajesh Iyer. We are proud to share that with unwavering commitment, more than 50 students have consistently attended these classes over the past three years.

*Our Commitment to Society:*

HEAP  as an organisation not only performs religious activities but goes beyond to fulfil the humanitarian commitments to the society at large. During the challenging times of the COVID-19 pandemic, we provided PPE kits to healthcare workers, organized free COVID vaccination drives for those in need, distributed essential rations, and actively participated in various community welfare activities.
